New Groundskeeper started three months ago. He has already made improvements.
The stolen pipes to water the greens are being replaced. This will improve the course.
The fairways are sloped and unfair at times. If course maintenance improves it can be a fun challenging course.
It has to be one of the worst golf courses in KC. No irrigation at all so it’s hard to even tell where the fairway are. On one of the Par 3’s they converted a par 4 into a par 3 and have you tee off from a heavily sloped fairway.
Members have terrible etiquette. Played 1.5 hours behind pace of play due to fivesome before 12 insanity 😳. T boxes in terrible shape. The redeeming factor was water was accessible all over the course. …
This is the worst course in KC…but one of the cheapest for 18 ($45). Showed up and they had no carts, finally got one 45 mins after my tee time. Tee boxes are burnt, brown, and tons of divots. Fairways are decent but only if you can hold them…most of them are side lies. Some of the greens are illegal and more suited for mini golf. Save your money, play somewhere else.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Called booked a tee time for 2… they sent us off on the back because of a “ladies night” was never informed of this when booking the tee time.. finished the 9.. and pulled up on the first tee.. there were 4 groups waiting to tee off! So while waiting we went back in to the shop to ask about it.. we were met by an older gentleman and he basically didn’t care and said it is what it is! “Charlie will be back in a little bit you can complain to him but nothing will come from it!” The older lady @ the bar was also unpleasant.. bought 3 beers when we first got there.. said my card wasn’t working.. literally a brand new card.. so tried another card weird that one didn’t work either… I suggested maybe your machine is messed up?? Her response “ya probably but I don’t feel like resetting it!” Avoid this dump. Horrible customer service & it’s not worth the $$ to play because it’s in horrible condition.
Good deal for golf. Ignore the rough cart paths and brick tee box markers🤣then it’s a pretty nice course. In all fairness, they run the place no frills, which is fine but it has more potential. Someway it has to maintained better. Nets are ripping by the driving range (balls on the fairway #16 and #18), pothole directly in front of the club house on path, broken fences everywhere, very patchy/dry tee boxes. I had a broken, slow cart. How can this place look like this after only 20 years? Zero maintenance, if this establishment is going to last then someone better take ownership.
This place is open good timing on week days and they have great workers, their kind, loving, and not disrespectful. There prices for food is not over priced and is gladly good. There pools are most of the time good taken care of, and this is a great place for hanging out with you friends or family. 5/5
My dad passed away on Christmas this past year. Huge golf guy. Just wanted to hangout with my best friend at the corse and rent a cart just for fun since I never got to go with my dad. When we asked how long we are allowed to have the cart, the guy answered “18 holes, you’ve never been golfing before have you?” And was super rude. Apparently he hates women after reading other reviews. Next time maybe don’t be like that cause you have no idea what people are going through. My dad was a better golfer than you’ll ever be a-hole.
